Meet Malaysia’s tourism specialists, discover new products and unlock new opportunities for your clients during Visit Malaysia 2026–2027
London, October 2026 – Tourism Malaysia is inviting UK travel agents, tour operators and travel industry professionals to meet a wide range of Malaysian tourism sellers at its Tourism Malaysia 2026 Roadshow, taking place in Manchester on 28 October and London on 30 October 2026.
Designed specifically for the UK travel trade, the two-city roadshow will provide agents with a valuable opportunity to meet Malaysian tourism representatives face-to-face, discover new and refreshed products, explore partnership opportunities and gain first-hand knowledge to help them sell Malaysia with greater confidence.
With Visit Malaysia 2026–2027 now gathering momentum, Tourism Malaysia is bringing together Malaysian tourism partners to showcase the breadth of experiences available across the country – from city breaks, luxury resorts and island escapes to culture and heritage, gastronomy, nature, wildlife, adventure and community-based tourism.
For UK travel professionals, the roadshow offers an opportunity to meet the people behind the products and discuss directly how Malaysian destinations and experiences can be incorporated into holidays and tailor-made itineraries for their clients.
Sulaiman Suip, Director of Tourism Malaysia UK & Ireland, said:
“We want this roadshow to be much more than a destination presentation. We want it to be a business opportunity for our UK travel trade partners.
“We are bringing Malaysian tourism sellers directly to Manchester and London so that agents can meet them, discover what is new, ask questions about their products and explore opportunities to develop new programmes and itineraries for their clients.
“Malaysia has an incredible variety of experiences, and our Malaysian partners have products that can cater to different types of travellers – from families and couples to luxury travellers, adventure seekers, nature and wildlife enthusiasts, and those looking for authentic cultural experiences.
“For agents who want to refresh their Malaysia knowledge, discover something different or develop new ideas for their clients during Visit Malaysia 2026–2027, this is an excellent opportunity to meet our partners directly.”
MEET MALAYSIA'S TOURISM SELLERS
A key feature of the roadshow will be the opportunity for UK agents to network directly with participating Malaysian tourism sellers.
The participating partners will showcase their latest products, destinations, accommodation, experiences and services, giving UK buyers the opportunity to discover new possibilities for their Malaysia programmes.
Agents will be able to:
- Meet Malaysian tourism suppliers and destination representatives directly;
- Discover new and lesser-known Malaysian destinations and experiences;
- Learn about the latest accommodation, tours, attractions and holiday products;
- Explore opportunities to develop new itineraries and tailor-made programmes;
- Discuss potential partnerships and business opportunities with Malaysian sellers;
- Obtain destination and product updates to strengthen their Malaysia sales knowledge; and
- Build valuable contacts with suppliers they can work with when planning holidays for their clients.
From Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Langkawi to Sabah and Sarawak, Borneo, the East Coast and Malaysia’s tropical islands, the sellers will provide agents with fresh ideas on how to combine destinations and experiences to create more compelling Malaysia holidays.
The roadshow will also highlight Malaysia's strengths in nature and wildlife, culture and heritage, food and gastronomy, wellness, adventure, beaches and islands, luxury travel and sustainable tourism.
A NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUR CLIENTS – MALAYSIA MY SECOND HOME
In addition to destination and product presentations, each roadshow will feature a dedicated Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) seminar, “Malaysia My Second Home – A New Opportunity for Your Clients”.
The session will introduce UK travel professionals to the MM2H programme and provide an overview of the opportunities available for clients who may be interested in Malaysia as a longer-term base.
This provides an additional opportunity for agents to understand a programme that may be relevant to clients considering extended stays or a longer-term lifestyle in Malaysia.
WHY MEET THE MALAYSIAN SELLERS?
The roadshow comes at a particularly important time as Tourism Malaysia and its industry partners continue to build momentum for Visit Malaysia 2026–2027.
While Malaysia is already a well-established destination among British travellers, Tourism Malaysia sees significant potential to encourage repeat visitors and new travellers to explore more of the country.
The roadshow therefore aims to help UK travel professionals move beyond the traditional Malaysia itinerary and discover new destinations, products and experiences that they can introduce to their customers.
With strong air connectivity between the UK and Malaysia, including direct services to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia remains highly accessible to British travellers. The country's widespread use of English, diverse accommodation options and broad range of tourism experiences further enhance its appeal.
